While we remember our fallen heroes each May on Memorial Day as being a day for us to show our gratitude to those military personnel who died in the service of this country, there are many combat veterans who have returned home physically safe and are still alive but have been fighting inner demons due to trauma from the war.
Our Veterans are struggling. Their families are anguishing. These statistics are frightening.
